Creators Market receives a mandatory 10% commission from freelancers once they have reached $50 USD in total commissions made through the platform.
Failure to pay the 10% fee may result in a restriction, or removal from the platform.
Payments must be done via secure and verifiable methods.
Examples of secure payment methods: Paypal, Ko-Fi, Venmo and Cashapp.
Creators Market is not responsible for any financial losses or scams. All payments are made at your own risk. However, users proven to be involved in scams or dishonest activity will be punished accordingly by the staff team.
Meaning that, we won't be able to refund any money from our own pockets, filing a dispute on Paypal would be your best bet.
Clients are required to pay 50% of the total commission upfront before the freelancer begins any work on the project.
The freelancer is required to send watermarked prototypes of the project and in case of the customer tried using AI to remove the watermark the order will be closed and your money won't be refunded and strict actions would be taken.
All communication and agreements related to the commission must remain inside the official ticket so that we're able to help in case of a scam.
If a freelancer is caught doing so, they may be removed from the team and banned from the platform. Clients are encouraged to report any such behaviour immediately to staff for investigation. If you got scammed in DMs, we won't be able to help as it is outside our server.
All commission details must be clearly agreed upon before the project starts. This includes the details of the order, pricing, deadline, number of revisions, and any special requirements.
These terms must be written inside the ticket to ensure transparency and protect both parties in case of a dispute.
Both parties are expected to respond in a reasonable time frame throughout the project.
If either the client or freelancer becomes unresponsive without explanation for an extended period, the project may be cancelled at high staff discretion.
If either party attempts to manipulate, pressure, mislead the other during the commission, or abuse a loophole inside of the contract, staff reserve the right to cancel the project and apply penalties, including bans.
You will have to keep everything clean within the ticket including your temper and behaviour, disrespecting freelancer isn't allowed.
Once the project is completed, the client must confirm delivery and issue the final payment if applicable while attaching screenshots of the payment.
Freelancers should provide proof of completion (e.g. screenshots, files, previews) before requesting the remaining 50%.
Creators Market offers support and mediation to help resolve disputes between clients and freelancers.
We'll be offering support and by support we don't mean financial and we won't be able to refund your payment but we'll be able to help punish the freelancer.
All parties involved must provide clear evidence (e.g., messages, payment proof, agreements) when requesting staff assistance.
You'll have to attach clear proof that you got scammed, we'll start taking actions after 24 hours passed after the incident happens.
While we strive to maintain fairness, Creators Market does not guarantee specific outcomes or refunds.
We aren't responsible for any refunds payment wise.
Staff decisions are final and meant to protect the community's integrity.
Whatever punishment was set by our staff is final and you can't negotiate further or you'll get a punishment.
